Trying to link William Hollopeter, born before 1840, who moved from Penneslvania to Ohio to Indiana to Andalusia, Illinois.
William married Mary Bortgus (sp) and had at least two sons:
    1) George W. Hollopeter b. February 22, 1874.
    2) Lewis O. Hollopeter, b. June 18, 1859.
    Lewis married Mabel Griffin and lived in Western Illinois. He had three children:
        1) John L. Hollopeter, b. about 1880.
        2) Helena E. Hollopeter, b. 1887.
        3) David R. Hollopeter, b. March 18, 1886.
        "DR", as he was known, married Lillie M. Wakeland, and they had five children.
            1) Lewis E. Hollopeter
            2) Dorothy M. Hollopeter
            3) Robert A. Hollopeter
            4) David Rollin Hollopeter
            5) Joseph I. Hollopeter    (My father)
