From The Hollopeter Family Record:
It was not possible for us to obtain very much information about Matthias Hollopeter Jr. However, we were gratified that we were able to contact some of his descendants, and to receive the names of others, even though their addresses were unknown. This son of Matthias and Barbara (Rusz) Hollopeter was born in York Co., Pa., and was living there at the time of his father's death in 1799.
We do not know the Year of his birth, nor the name of his wife, but we know that all his children were born in York Co., and that he left there about 1830 with his family, and located in Miami Co., OH. He died about 1844, and is buried in the cemetery at Covington OH. Some of his children are buried there too, while others have a resting place near East Liberty, in Logan Co., OH. Some of his descendants reside near Covington, Bellefontatne, and Lewistown, OH, Richmond, Ind. and Mt. Ayr, IA. Matthias Jr. and his wife were the parents of eight children
